Young Married Couples

Sunday School: Currently we offer two (2) classes for young couples on Sunday mornings ...

YMYP (Young Married/Young Professional): Meets at 9:30 AM on Sunday in room 321. Rick Harper, who is campus minister with Christian Campus Fellowship at Georgia Tech teaches this class. Young professional singles and recently married couples in their 20's make up this class.

Married Filing Jointly: Meets at 9:30 AM in room 317. Craig Kingston, Minister to Young Adults, teaches this class. Married couples in their 20's and 30's make up this class.

In addition to Sunday School, these classes get together during the year for socials, parties and retreats which help build community among the group. Several small groups of men and women meet on a regular basis to further challenge and disciple one another. Contact Craig for more information.

Retreats, Conferences, and Mission Trips
  • Gatlinburg Collegiate Conference: Typically this conference is held in late February, and involves college students, campus ministries, and churches all over the Southeast, and offers challenging speakers and workshops as well as praise and worship from some talented leaders. The conference is always held in a top notch resort in scenic Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This is a great opportunity to interact with other college students as well as be challenged in your walk as a disciple of Jesus.
  • Spring Collegiate Retreat at Woodland Christian Camp: An opportunity to get away for a weekend and be challenged in your Christian journey with other college students at a great camp.
  • College/Young Adult Mexico Mission Trip:  Every year when school is out, we head to Juarez, Mexico to work with Casas por Cristo and build a house for a family. This is a great road trip that emphasizes Christian service and fellowship.
  • Young Adult Beach Retreat: In July we head to the Laguna Beach Christian Retreat (just down from Panama City Beach) for a few days of sun and fun!
